Robert Schmidt, DMD

Dr. Robert Schmidt called many places home while growing up. His father served in the military for 20 years and along with his twin brother and mother, he spent time in Washington DC, Texas, Washington, and Kentucky. Prior to starting high school, he moved to Mint Hill, NC where his family still lives today. Robert graduated from the University of North Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He then completed his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012.

After acquiring the current practice from a retiring dentist back in 2015, Dr. Schmidt has enjoyed providing many years of quality dentistry to the Statesville and surrounding communities and has built strong relationships with his patients based on mutual trust and respect.

In March of 2023, Dr. Schmidt decided he needed to reduce his long commute times by practicing closer to home in Kannapolis now that he has three small children at home under the age of 3.  Although he no longer practices at this location on a daily basis, he still owns the practice, and he is still intimately involved in overseeing the daily operations with Dr. Bogdan and the team members.
